Mr. Ahmad Waqar, Chairman, Federal Board of Revenue alongwith Mr. Irfan Nadeem, Member (Inland Revenue), Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad visited Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi on 21^st March, 2009.

A delegation of American Business Council of Pakistan (ABC) headed by the Asif Jooma, President ABC (M.D. Abbott) met Chairman and Member (I.R.) in LTU Karachi and gave proposals for Federal Budget 2009-10. Another delegation of Pakistan Banking Association (PBA) headed by Mr.Muhammad Aftab Manzoor, Chairman PBA (President & CEO, ABL) also discussed the issues of banking sector and gave proposals for amendments in the coming fiscal budget 2009-10. In the end, Chairman FBR acknowledged the contribution made by both the Associations to the economy of Pakistan.
